something I already know but the past two day reminded me that patients is a virtue and when you crunch the numbers in to a very fine powder remove the emotion and add ambition you can mold those numbers into anything you want.

As I watched congress spend the day smacking the big three car company's on the nose with a rolled up news paper I got to thinking about what they said. They claim to be cutting the fat. The only place that I've seen them cut the fat was in labor cost. I don't see how they can be taking credit for reducing labor cost when the unions are starting to make concessions. All the white collar managers keep wanting to lay off the blue collar workers to reduce costs, what they don't seem to understand is they can't manage there way in to spontaneously creating a car no matter how much he gets paid. All the management in the world doesn't make a lick of difference if there is no one to put the radio in. These blue collar workers that these managers seem to think are disposable know how to build a car and probably the best way to do it. I do believe the best way to help the car industry is to remove many of the managers so they can get out of the hair of the people that are creating the product that the company is based on. I'm not saying management is solely to blame they must be there to keep the blue collar workers from taking advantage of not having anyone looking over there shoulder. I also think that the unions making concessions as good as it is, is the wrong attitude. They should have the attitude of I need to be working as tho my job depends on it because it does. When it comes right down to it the biggest problem with the industry is the idea that nobody else can do my job. I'm sure they are thinking that while there job is sent to another country. That is a another subject for another day. Have fun and take care.
